Ascolto Tom Waits più o meno da sempre.

Ad alcuni album, come Blue Valentine, Alice e Mule Variations, sono molto legato, senza un motivo preciso.

Ma è dai solchi di Heartattack & Vine che viene fuori, grazie anche ad una strepitosa versione dal vivo eseguita da Bruce Springsteen non moltissime volte in carriera, la canzone a cui sono più affezionato:
